A map for close study, not a replacement for the source
This mini-site publishes a filtered graph generated from a provenance-aware analysis of Roberto Assagioli’s The Act of Will. Its purpose is to make conceptual and analytical relationships easier to inspect without flattening different kinds of records into one undifferentiated network.
What the graph distinguishes
- Source & provenance
- Where an assertion or record is anchored in the source.
- Semantic entities
- Concepts, people, works, models, practices and related reusable entities.
- Source analysis
- Assertions, canonical claims, arguments and source-reported relationships.
- Critical analysis
- Scoped assessments, tensions and research questions.
- Evidence
- Modern studies, findings and evidence assessments when those layers are added.
- Modern adaptation
- Explicit later framings or mappings kept separate from Assagioli’s source claims.
Publication boundary
The authored knowledge base remains Markdown and YAML. A deterministic Python compiler validates references and generates the web-ready JSON consumed by this site. The site does not parse the analysis repository directly.
The public export suppresses full source text and exact source spans by default. Source locations remain visible so analytical records can retain provenance without turning this site into a republication of the book.
Reading relationships carefully
An edge such as premise of, concludes, qualifies or in tension withrepresents a specific relationship encoded or derived from the analysis model. It is not a generic endorsement. Review status, origin, scope and confidence remain visible where available.
